Hindman strengthens Palm Beach team with appointment of Elizabeth Marshman

PALM BEACH – Hindman announces that Elizabeth Marshman has joined the firm as director of trusts, estates and private clients in its Palm Beach sale room. In partnership with Managing Director of Trusts, Estates & Private Clients Molly Gron, Marshman will work to develop business both in Palm Beach County and the northern reaches of Florida. She will also collaborate with Hindman’s recently launched New York office, led by Gemma Sudlow, as well as its 15 additional locations throughout the country.

Marshman brings more than a decade of art business experience with an extensive sales and fundraising background, focusing on fine art and luxury acquisitions. Most recently she oversaw special events sales at the Colony Hotel, where she developed a strong network of clients and raised awareness of the hotel. Prior to working at the Colony Hotel, Marshman was director of marketing and social media with DTR Modern Galleries and M Fine Arts Galerie.

A native Virginian and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Marshman earned a master’s degree in art business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art and a bachelor’s degree in history from Roanoke College. She was active in the New York Junior League and the Boston Junior League, and is currently a member of the Palm Beach Young Professionals, Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, Palm Beach Symphony Young Friends Executive Committee, the Town of Palm Beach United Way Allocations Committee, and served as the Chairwoman for the Town of Palm Beach Business and Executive Committee.

Marshman joins Hindman’s sale room in Palm Beach, which opened in 2011. Hindman was among the first established auction houses to launch a location in Florida when it opened its Naples office in 2010, which was followed by the opening of the Palm Beach location the next year. Through close collaboration with experts across the firm’s three Florida locations, Marshman will focus on continuing to expand the firm’s reach in the region.
